Forgiveness is conditional and involves remorse and repentance with amends. 2 Chronicles 7:14-16 says that when folk humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways is when the Lord forgives. Next, the Lord put within everyone's conscience the knowledge of right or wrong. Thus, those folk who refuse to apologize are those do it intentionally. They get no excuse for not seeking to make things right behind their foul treatment. It's the Holy Spirit who convicts and converts people. Followers of Christ are required to make things right with their brother when they harm them. Those who fail to do so, the Lord says, Vengeance is mine and the would repay. Here are two examples that contradict the claims about forgiveness for everybody whether they seek it or not. Mary visited a home full of people where Jesus was present. She bowed at his feet, her tears wetting his feet, she dried them and anointed his feet with perfume. The house was full of church folk yet only she left with her sins forgiven. Clearly Jesus did not issue forgiveness to everyone there who hadn't sought it. The man who was sick of palsy was let down from the roof in front of Jesus. He sought healing. Jesus said to him, "Thy sins are forgiven thee." His palsy was the result of sin in his life. The mind's control of the body is more powerful than most realize. When he was provided forgiveness, he then became able to walk. Only he left that home that day with his sins forgiven. Lastly, the king granted the guy mercy because he asked for it. This same guy when asked for mercy refused to grant it. The story was about mercy. In both cases, mercy was requested. This sermon suggests we shouldn't expect folk to ask for forgiveness. Such an attitude promotes enduring abuse and not holding others accountable. When the king learned that he'd not extended mercy, he reinstated his debt. The Lord in the judgement won't ask, What did pastor say?, He'll say What did my Word say and why didn't you follow it ?

A year ago, God blessed me with a really nice job, but the caveat is that I have an in-office day once a week, or two days biweekly. My office is 80 miles away, and my anxiety and stress levels keep me from sleeping when I have to drive to work. Please pray for me. On my in-office days, I run on 2-3 hours of sleep. Thank you

What a crucial message that challenges us to grow spiritually. I would like to explore more about relating to others after forgiving them. My question is, if we see that we expect something from those who cannot give, should we still subject ourselves to them, even after forgiving them for hurting us.

Glad to see Breath of Life using its platform to discuss this very serious issue. Seventh day Adventist have warned for 180 + years that these exact events would happened and it's here NOW! The book, The Great Controversy by Ellen G White, has literally forewarned of ALL of what's happening today. I encourage every Seventh day Adventist as well as non Adventist to read that book and prayerfully take heed! We are witnessing the forming of the National Sunday Law, the enforcement of Sunday Worship, the Mark of the Beast which Seventh day Adventist have been teaching for over a century. It's all about worship and America's refusal to repent of her Racism towards African Americans AND her refusal to sever ties with its belief that White is Superior has paved the way for the joining of church and state. This is just fact and many can't or won't see the connection but it's truth. We are here folks though we arent to become fearful however, we must recognize the urgency of the hour and draw closer to God like never before. And, be sure to warn others of the true intent of what's REALLY going on. 🙏🏽

What I'm concerned about is that this legislation of the 10 Commandments and the rise of "Christian Nationalism" seems to be leading towards the unholy alliance (as EGW puts it) between the church and the State, which will lead to more legislation of religion, inevitably leading to the legislation of Sunday worship. EGW says that when the apostate protestant church will seek political power, it will lead to persecution of those who will not "fall in line" because of our conscience. We Adventists need to keep reading our Bibles and be aware of the signs of the times 🙏🏽 It doesn't make sense to support the precursors of our own eventual persecution...

If God made us in his own image and you have been baptized, which signifies that you have put aside all the unnatural worldly ways and you have come to Jesus your creator for renewed strength and guidance, then what is the need for "bleached hair? In the church. People must be able to tell the difference between a person who is obedient to God and one who let's the devil get the better of them at times. There is a huge difference between night and day, it's so visible.

I had to listen to this message again Pastor Snell. What a word. Forgiveness. Too much unforgiveness in the church. Yet we want to go to heaven and we can forgive our earthly brothers.

Indeed contingency plans should not exist if one has the established relationship with God because The Almighty should lead our lives everyday
